Hello world!  Welcome to my blog!  Two years ago, I decided to change the way my family and I looked at food.  I have given up fast food, soda, caffeine, spirits (other than wine) and a lot of sugary snacks.  I prepare all of my family’s meals from scratch, using fresh and natural ingredients as much as possible.  I told my children that I want them to have a “restaurant experience” every time they sit down to dinner.  I do not have formal culinary training, but I have been fortunate enough to have grown up in a family of great cooks and to have worked in restaurants with great chefs who were willing to let me look over their shoulders!  I look forward to sharing a little of what I do, and to learning with and from each of you!  Cheers! 😀
